Summer has come & gone, we're riding on the tailcoats of autumn into the winter months, and yours truly begs an apology for stringing you along without so much as a peep from the exploits of one Ms. Proust. Bless you, if you subscribe to this blog, & my sincere gratitude to those of you who check in from time to time--I hope to disappoint you no longer!
I'm a bit of a techno-phobe (okay, more like a COMPLETE ignoramus) & this fall both computer & camera problems ground blogging to a screaming halt. $$$'s of dollars later, I have a temporarily virus-free PC (maybe I need Santa to bring me a Mac) and our digital camera is free of whatever purse gunk made its shutter inoperable (it's great going incognito, but I'll gladly tote a bloody camera bag to restaurants rather than giving some punk in Ballard $200 to clean our Canon out again.)
Ken & I haven't been on a single extended vacation this year, so with a pre-Thanksgiving trip to NYC & beyond on the horizon we needed a working camera--and it came back from the shop a mere day before our departure. And for that, I definitely give thanks!!!
