Madeleine is the trio of Catherine Reynolds/Ms. Proust/& La Morena (formerly, La Rubia) put in the creative blender--a passionate chef, award-winning poet, as well as lauded wine professional who managed & cultivated one of the largest Iberian wine programs in the nation at The Spanish Table for over half a decade.
She now runs her own company, Queso y Vino, a virtual bottle shop that hosts movable feasts with talented chefs, sleuths out stellar wines, and delivers enjoyment to her hungry readers and thirsty newsletter subscribers.

Ms. Proust earned a Master's of Fine Arts at Naropa University, under the tutelage of Allen Ginsberg then published, edited, won a major fellowship through Artist Trust, traveled the world, came back as a poet-in-residence in Seattle's public schools, only to travel the world and back again in search of great wine & stories.

Ms. Reynolds was announced in Wine & Spirit's 2007 as one of "Top Ten Seattle most exciting, up-and-coming wine professionals"--
but the vote that really counts is all that great friends I've had the privilege to meet over the years.

Me, myself, & I are all now happily married to Ken O'Hara, former executive chef at the Mandalay Cafe, who makes all my culinary (& otherwise) dreams come true.
